Registrations for 2016 close on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
The Pennant season starts on the weekend of 30 April, will run until August, and is played at clubs around metropolitan Melbourne. Each team is either a “mens” team (minimum of 4 men/boys) or a “womens” team (minimum of 4 women/girls).
The format includes both singles and doubles, played on Saturday afternoons (1pm start). Typically one weekend will be singles, and the next weekend will be doubles.
Players who have not registered AND paid their registration fee by this date will NOT be selected in teams.

All junior players registered to play NSJTA team tennis this season are required to attend an information session at the club on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 7:00pm to pick up fixtures and information for the new season, and to meet new teammates.
This season, Deer Park has teams in the following grades:
Friday nights (starting on Friday, January 29)
Saturday mornings (starting on Saturday, January 30)

Our coach Steven Cheng will be going to watch the Australian Open qualifying sessions at Melbourne Park on Saturday, January 16. After that, Steven will run a Mini Aus Open Tournament at Deer Park TC.
Everyone is welcome to come along and / or play in the Mini Aus Open Tournament.
Steven will be at the bus stop at Deer Park Railway Station / Tilburn Road at 8:10am and will be catching the 8:24am bus to Sunshine, then catching the train at 8:41am at Sunshine Railway Station (platform 1).
He will return to Deer Park TC at around 2:30pm (depending on what time the matches finish). The Mini Aus Open Tournament will start from 3:00pm and finish at 5:00pm.
Bus / train costs are the normal costs so don't forget to bring your Myki card, but entry to watching the qualifying sessions is free of charge.

Tennis Victoria have invited us to enter a Deer Park TC team to compete on the TAC People's Court during the Australian Open and go into the running to win $5,000 for Deer Park TC!
